LOCTITE® 270™ is designed for permanent fixing and sealing of threaded of threaded component assemblies.
The product cures in the absence of air, between close-fitting metal surfaces, preventing
metal surfaces, preventing loosening and leakage caused by impact and/or vibration.
It is particularly suitable for large applications such as stud bolts in engine housings, nuts on stud bolts in
engine housing studs, nuts on pump housing studs and other bolts where high strength is required.
Provides stable curing behaviour.
Works not only on active metals (e.g. brass, but also on passive substrates such as stainless steel and plated surfaces.
The product offers good high temperature performance and oil tolerance.
It tolerates minor surface contamination from from various oils, such as cutting fluids, lubricants or protective and anti-corrosion fluids.
