LOCTITE® 243TM is designed for fastening and sealing of threaded components that require disassembly using standard
standard hand tools. The product cures in the absence of air, between close-fitting metal surfaces,
preventing loosening and leakage caused by impact and/or vibration.
Its thixotropic nature reduces the migration of the product migration of the liquid product after application to the substrate.
Provides stable curing behaviour.
Not only works on active metals (e.g. brass, copper) but also on passive substrates such as stainless steel and plated surfaces.
The product offers good high temperature performance and oil tolerance. Tolerates minor surface contamination
from various oils, such as cutting fluids, lubricants or protective and anti-corrosion fluids.
